The boathouse hosted my guests in celebration for my birthday. It was a romantic night filled with laughter and photoshoots. I couldn’t have asked for better company (minus some of them).

I drank my first glass of wine. Nero D’Avola from Sicily, Italy 2011. Red wine that was bitter with a acidic touch! It was fantastic with my NY strip steak.

We posed and styled the night away as Princesses! It was a sophisticated night I will never forget. I never expected for anyone to show up honestly. I grew up not having birthday parties. None of my friends ever knew it was my birthday when I was growing up. I think it is time to celebrate life more often.
